Beat the Wizard Amusements was founded in 1974 as a pinball only arcade, because, well, there were no video games. We started with a mission to be the industry leader in all the things we still value today. Service, clean well maintained games, a family friendly attitude and real love for the arcade business. We moved to the Bay Area in 1994 in our new incarnation as route operators and have not only endured, but risen to the top of the industry. Our founder Jay David, retired in 2023 and Preston Kiraly, our route manager of 20 years is now part of the ownership team. Bringing a new energy and enthusiasm as we celebrate 50 years in business this July, 2024.
